The Lundoch Diabetes Test (HbA1c Test long-term blood sugar test) is a good start if you have concerns about your blood sugar management or think you may have prediabetes or diabetes.
HbA1c is an helpful indicator of blood sugar control, looking at current blood glucose levels as well as your average blood glucose level over the past three months. Poorly controlled blood sugar can lead to insulin resistance, prediabetes, and type 2 diabetes, so it is important to test every 3 months to catch warning signs early.
Lundoch is a proud partner of Diabetes Sverige (Diabetes Sweden). A portion of sales from every test is donated to supporting their fight against diabetes and prediabetes.

Lundoch uses microsampling technology to offer health tests that can be done in the comfort of your home. There is no need to visit a medical professional or lab– you collect your sample yourself using a simple finger prick.
Each kit will provide everything you need, including a lancet for the finger prick and a blood sample card to apply your sample. Unlike traditional testing, only a few drops of blood are required!
The blood sample collection card separates the blood solids from the blood plasma and once dry, you mail your sample to our lab. Just drop it at your local Postnord drop-off point.
Once your sample arrives at the lab, your results are uploaded to your secure, data-protected online portal within ten days.
Note: if you’d like to learn more, detailed sample collection instructions can be found on the instructions page in the kit.

The Lundoch Diabetes test (HbA1c long-term blood sugar test) may have several purposes:
Screening for prediabetes and diabetes: If you are over 40 and are obese, overweight, or otherwise at high risk for diabetes, your doctor may want to check for health conditions before you experience symptoms. The test can be used for diabetes screening, but the results may need to be confirmed by repeating the test or using another type of test.
Diagnosing prediabetes and diabetes: This uses tests and procedures to find out the cause of health changes. Symptoms can include excessive thirst, frequent urination, blurred vision, tingling or loss of sensation in the feet and hands, and feeling extremely tired.
Monitoring diabetes: If you have been diagnosed with diabetes, you use this test every 3 months. This gives you an idea of how well your blood glucose has been controlled in the 3 months between doctor visits and allows your doctor to make adjustments to your treatment plan and lower your chance of health problems.
*The HbA1c test is not used to diagnose gestational diabetes, a form of the disease that can develop during pregnancy.

Prediabetes is a condition that affects about 20-30% of people in Europe and the US. It is characterized by blood sugar levels that are higher than normal, but not high enough to be classified as diabetes. If left untreated, prediabetes can lead to type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and stroke.
The good news is prediabetes can be reversed through diet and lifestyle changes. But because it rarely shows symptoms, 80% of people who have prediabetes don’t know it. You can only reverse the condition if you know you have it. Lundoch HbA1c test can help you identify whether you currently have or are at risk for prediabetes.

Diabetes is a chronic health condition in which the body either doesn’t make enough insulin or doesn’t respond to insulin the way it should. Insulin regulates blood glucose and helps get it into the cells to be used for energy. When there isn’t enough insulin, or insulin isn’t responded to, the patient experiences chronically high blood sugar which over time, causes damage to the blood vessels, heart, eyes, kidneys, and nerves.
People with type 1 or type 2 diabetes typically rely on medication such as Metformin and Insulin to control blood sugar levels. However, it is important to test HbA1c every 3 months to ensure the condition is being properly managed.
Lundoch HbA1c test can help you identify whether you already developed diabetes. For diabetic patients, Lundoch HbA1c test helps monitor your glucose levels.
Step 2. Collect sample and register.
